HUD

Player status, vehicle telemetry and personal HUD settings with optional voice and mechanic integrations.

se_hudESX LegacyDocumented version 1.1.1

Requirements

es_extended is required. pma-voice, esx_status, se_ui and se_mechanic are optional. se_hud does not require oxmysql or an SQL import.

Mechanic telemetry requires se_mechanic 0.1.1 or later. It uses a read-only server export, not direct database queries.

Installation

Keep the folder named se_hud. Start ESX first; start any optional integrations before the HUD.

cfg
ensure es_extended
# Optional / Opzionali
# ensure se_ui
# ensure se_mechanic
ensure se_hud

Configuration

Open /hud to configure the interface. Personal preferences are stored in client KVP and survive reconnection and resource restarts.

If pma-voice is installed, disable its default interface to avoid duplicate voice indicators. Keep Config.EnableDemo = false in production.

cfg
setr voice_enableUi 0

Usage & commands

/hud opens settings; /hudtoggle shows or hides the interface. B toggles the seat belt; Y toggles cruise control at the current speed.

Other resources can temporarily suppress the HUD without overwriting the player's visibility preference.

lua
exports.se_hud:SetSuppressed('my_resource', true)
-- Restore / Ripristina
exports.se_hud:SetSuppressed('my_resource', false)

Troubleshooting

HUD missing: check that es_extended started first and that the character finished loading, then try /hudtoggle. For a missing vehicle dashboard, check its module in /hud and Config.Vehicle.enabled.

Missing hunger, thirst or stress requires esx_status or configured state bags; unavailable values are not simulated. For oil and cooling data, check se_mechanic and allow about five seconds for an update.

These guides cover the versions shown. Check the README included with your package when using a different release.
